We decided to bring you the Apps you’ll be taking in to the next year simply because we cannot seem to live without them. Phones get lost, stolen and misplaced every single day. In this hectic life we’re leading, it’s hard to remember where you placed your keys, so having a backup plan is always a must! With G Cloud installed, one can rest assured that all the precious contacts and data can never be lost. So G Cloud is definitely a must in 2013!
2. AirDroid (Get it for your android) Free
Just as we may forget where we place our phone, we know the feeling of misplaced cables and USB wires. So what to do when you desperately need that file on your phone before you leave your laptop/PC and cannot seem to find the cable anywhere? Well, Airdroid is the easiest option that saved our lives multiple times this year, so 2013 will be no different.
3. TrueCaller (Get it for your android) Free
We all know that annoying phone call you keep on getting from the persistent marketers that you cannot evade just because they continue to change their digits. Or that awkward in-law phone call you try to escape. Well, now thanks to TrueCaller, you can identify pretty much anyone who calls you. Very useful and highly recommended if you’re not using it already.
4. Pixlr Express (Get it for your android) Free
With so many photo filter Apps out there, it’s hard to choose one that actually stands out. We’ve been using the Chrome version of this App for quite sometime, and it’s amazing; fixes the pictures in more ways you can imagine. So, we were thrilled when the Android App division arrived. A definite must for photo lovers.
5. Photo Grid (Get it for your android) Free
There are tons of collage making apps out there, but this is the one you ought to be using, especially if you’re an Instagrammer. Super simple to use, and you can just shake the mobile to create a collage that is to your liking. You can even change the background, colors and so much more. But the best thing about it, is that the created collage is automatically an instant fit for Instagram, so all you’ll have to do is share!
6. Subway Surfers (Get it for your android) Free
Warning, if you have little time to spare, do not, we repeat, do not download this app! It’s so addictive you might forget your kids! At first glace it will look like just another Temple Run copy cat, but it’s much more fun once you put some time into it. With the Facebook integration, you can keep on competing with your friends and beat their scores.
7. Pinterest (Get it for your android) Free
No one can deny the huge boom Pinterest caused, especially among women this year. So the arrival of an Android App was a must. We have to admit, after experimenting with different browsing methods, the easiest most fun way to have the most out of Pinterest was indeed on a tablet/Phone. So if you’re a Pinterest enthusiast, then the adoption is simply natural.
8. Offline Dictionaries (Get it for your android) Free
For the nerds or teachers out there, this is probably already on your phones long ago. It’s highly beneficial, especially for those that are searching for (obviously) an offline dictionary that also offers a thesaurus. It saved our lives many times when the 3G was wonky, and made us look eloquent when we wanted to boast our linguistic skills.
9. Triple Town (Get it for your android) Free
One of our favorite and very addictive puzzle games is most definitely Triple Town. One cannot seem to get enough of those tiny bears that are so annoying but so amusing at the same time! A definite worthy pastime to download.
10. Runtastic (Get it for your android) Free
Yes, new years is all about resolutions; getting fit, getting more done, more accomplishments and less procrastination. So as they say: “A year from now, you’ll wish you had started today.” So, grab this App and start running and monitoring your jogs/runs till you’re ready to run a full marathon!
