At least comics fans will recognize a few of the top-down environments while they’re hammering endless waves of bad guys, and the game includes various costumes including Odin and Beta Ray Bill.

Start gives you quick access to everything that matters to you from your start screen. It connects with facebook, twitter, flickr, Youtube, local weather forecasts, photo gallery, and a host of news providers using RSS feeds to make your start screen really yours.


3. JotterPad X (Get it for your android) Free

JotterPad X is a minimalist writing app good for both casual and creative writers. It’s perfect for writing essay, lyrics, news article, magazine and poem. Just about every Gameloft title is an excuse to make fun of the company’s lack of originality yet Tank Battles is actually pretty unique. It’s a four-player battle game that’s sort of like a top-down version of Battlezone, only with modern upgradeable weapons, armor, and vehicles. 80 single-player levels and a handful of multiplayer arenas are available, but watch out for the typical Gameloft in-app purchases. (PS The song in the trailer is a rip-off of Jet’s “Are You Gonna Be My Girl” Yes we concentrate on the music that much).


7. One Clue (Get it for your android) Free

One Clue claims to be the best word puzzle game on Google Play. It’s up to you to decide. It shows you 1 letter and an interesting clue and it’s up to you to unscramble 1 word. There are hints at your disposal that will help you if you ever get stumped. They’ve created hundreds of word puzzles for you to show your word recognition skills.


8. Gifstory – Gif Maker App (Get it for your android) Free

Create short (4-second) animated gifs to share with Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr. Forget static images for reaction to comments, toss in a clip of you and your friends. Or cat. We know you’re thinking about all the ways to show off that new kitten.


9. Romans From Mars (Get it for your android) Free

Play as a Roman soldier who has to take on Mars, the God of War, as he brings his endless Martian army to take down your castle.
