I purchased the old version less than 2 weeks ago. Do you have any policy on updating recent purchasers?

So if the Server 2 version didn’t work for me and now the2012 does, can I ge an ugrade for free?
Is the support going to be improved in this product?
What happened to the nice cloud based professional backup you all had? What is this new facebook product you have now? Can I migrate to that? Who, in the biz world would? Am I asking too many questions? Will someone EVER really call me or email me back?

Hello Sam,
You can contact the support helpdesk if you are having problems, I am sure they will help you.
Our cloud backup solution has become Zoolz, an enhanced version of the old cloud solution, you can check it out at http://www.zoolz.com or you can sign up using Facebook. Glad to be of help.

The text is really confusing … “Users with Genie Timeline 2.1 will only need to install Genie Timeline 2012 and it will automatically upgrade the build and the backup will resume without any intervention. No reconfiguration or uninstalling required.” Did it and now my licensed 2.1 pro version is an unlicensed 3.0 version with 30 days period.
And I am really disappointed with the upgrade offer found in the tool … 41 € vs 54 € as normal price. The 41 € can be reached easily with free coupons floating in the web, this is not the way to treat true customers. My old version was also only bought a few months back … in these cases other companies give massive discounts (60% is very common) or even the new version for free . . . but perhaps this is foreseen and I just jumped the bell. i will wait and hope.

I bought two Pro licenses less than 30 days ago, and now I’m forced to pay for an upgrade for more than what I paid originally?
Furthermore, this product does not appear to be stable on Windows 7 64-bit. I have an open ticket with support but thus far they’ve provided no answers.
As a potential reseller for your commercial products, frankly I’m disappointed.

Hello admin,
as requested I wrote the same info to sales@genie9.com as in my post 04.04.12 … and NO REPLY. Great support concept on Genie’s side and now my “update” is running out.
