Looking for an Apple Time Capsule like storage device that will work with your Windows?
Well look no further because LaCie is releasing Wireless space which combines a Wireless router with network attached storage in a stylish box designed by Neil Poulton. The device can work as a wireless access point so you can use it as a router, can stream digital contents to UPnP/DLNA-compliant network players and iTunes, and not only that; the Wireless Space comes bundled with Genie Timeline 2.1 the latest in backup technology. Genie Timeline 2.1 utilizes the wireless capabilities of the Wireless Space to create the first Windows Time Machine, backing up continuously to the device, creating points in time to go back to and restore either any or every file you want. Farfetched? Believe it! The Wireless Space will be available in October, with its 1TB version costing around $230 so if you are looking into buying one, and we suspect you probably are, the device comes with an upgrade discount to the Professional version of Genie Timeline 2.1, ask for that to benefit from all the features of the most powerful yet simple backup solution in the market.
